1AV Anthurium Zara x Michelle F3
One of the original 10 moms purchased in March of 2022, this bad girl slipped right by my radar. I had no idea she was variegated until she put out a leaf two weeks later, and I was hooked! Not only that, of the ten, her leaves are super velvety, very dark, and are a wonderful round shape that I adore.
She has two inflorescences (blooms) present as of the end of November, and I am planning on crossing her with my Dr Block 'Black Widow x Michelle', that I bought at the same time as my Zara x Michelle's.

1B has, bushes to barrels, beat my other girls in growth and stamina. Her leaves have a wonderful sheen, and glimmer in the light. Her emergent leaves are quite nice too.
2A Anthurium Zara x Michelle F3
Fertile Mertile! This girl is the mom of most of my collection! She also is responsible for a fair number of variegated seedlings, so heads up!! Her emergent leaves are gorgeous, as you can see. Her leaf structure is different from the other mothers as well. Her leaves are super flat, very thick, and super resilient. She was the breakout, from the get out!
3B Anthurium Zara x Michelle F3
3B!! She gets me!!! This girl has amazing veining! I mean, super silver, wide, and gorgeous. She also gives me those turtle vibes. Her emergent colors range during the year, but winter is her time to shine! I have high hopes for her seedlings.
4A Anthurium Zara x Michelle F3
Ruby Red! This mom has grown slower than some of the others. However, her Ruby Red color more than makes up for it. I am germinating just a few seeds from her first inflo that I crossed with Barry Schwartz's Jungle Giant. Stay tuned.
Black Widow x Michelle
This is one happy and easygoing mom. She has thinner leaves that curl a bit back, which is very cute. She is a gorgeous dark green, once her leaves harden off.
She is only now (12/1/23) putting out her first two blooms. I have already started crossing her with 1A Variegated ZxM F3!
My hope is to find seedling with more of the Black Widow trait, and a nice sprinkling of variegation wouldn’t hurt! Wish us luck!
